So I'm guessing that most people agree with me( people who have actually read Eragon and seen the movie) that the movie Eragon is totally inaccurate with the book. I mean come on it's not that hard to stay between the boundaries of the book, but the movie went way out of the borders. I shall write down some of the issues that movie has:
1.Eragon doesn't just walk out of his house and he's in the the Spine, he's been there for a while
2. When he finds Saphira's egg its not because it's at the same spot where the deer was
3. Saphira's hatches before Roran leaves for his job
4. Roran doesn't just leave his house to look for a job he already gets one and he doesn't even mention that he is getting the money to start a family with Katrina
5. When Spahira hatches Eragon is supposed to be asleep and then he wakes up from a loud noise
6. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE WINTER NOT SPRING THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE SNOW
7. When Eragon goes into town to find out about dragons and realizes the Raz'zac are there, the Raz'zac don't torture Sloan and practically kill him
8. When Eragon runs home to try to warn his uncle Saphira is supposed to take him to the Spine not like 2 seconds away
9. Going back Saphira doesn't name herself and doesn't become an adult in 5 minutes
10. Eragon is supposed to bring his uncle to Carvahall after he had been dieing, but no Brom comes and tells Eragon that there going to the Varden. I meen the first half of the story was chasing the Raz'zac because Eragon wanted revenge
11. The Raz'zac don't die so easily from when Eragon and Brom fight them in a forest
12. There is no spell that makes Eragons eyes the same as Saphira's
13. When they get to Daret the only thing that happens there is the villagers are scared, i mean how the heck did the urgals or Angela or Murtagh get into the big picture
14.What happened to Teirm, They're supposed to lose track of where the Raz'zac went and go to Teirm for help
15. Eragon doesn't have a random vision that Arya is telling Eragon exactly where to go
16. When Eragon tries to rescue Arya he is actually imprisoned before, and he doesn't just walk in and walk out
17. Murtagh was supposed to actually get in to the really big picture before
18. Brom doesn't die of Durza he dies of the Raz'zac
19. Arya is supposed to be in a coma, Eraon is just sorta going towards the Varden
20. Eragon and Murtagh got to the Varden a bit to quickly
21. Murtagh has been protesting to go to the Varden the entire way and is not showing Eragon the way.
22. The war between the urgals and Farthen dur doesn't begin right away as Eragon gets to the Varden
23. Saphira doesn't breath fire until the very end
24.Durza and Eragon don't have a flight battle, it's all on the ground
25. Durza doesn't give a big speech to the urgals before they enter the mountain
26. At the very end Arya isn't on her way back to the land of the elves, she stays at Farthen dur until Eragon is ready to go
There are more stuff that bug me about that movie but I still hope there is a sequel cause if they start a sequel they might as well l finish it. Oh and Arya is not very talkative and is supposed to have darker hair and to be taller.

Also if my memory serves me right there was a bigger deal when Durza slashed Eragon's back and, the movie never even mentioned that gem type thing that I seem to remember.
I didn't much care for the movie.

I also forgot to mention that galbatorix doesnt have a real role in the book but compared to the movie man
i feel like a hipocrite casue i am sayng bad stuff bout the movie but i really liked it

The book sucked to begin with. It was a stereotypical "Dragons/Swords/SWcifi" fantasy bull shit Iv been reading for the past three years. You want really good fantasy, check out the Draginloance books. nOObs.

And I would have to agree that they left waaaayyyyy too much stuff out in that movie, super-fastforwarding through the first, oh, couple hundred pages or so?
And Rowan practically disappears. He's way more important than they showed him to be...
The one thing they changed that I did like was the arial battle at the end, that was cool.
